A Program Note

The first desire is to provide music for our listening audience that will challenge and excite your musical interests. Light hearted music is performed between movements of a variety of symphonic literature. Starting with the French composer C. Saint-Saens and ending that part of the program with Dvorak's Music from The New World composed after he visited the United States.
Memorial Day, historically commemorated on the 30th of may, will be honored with two compositions, This is my Country and Armed Forces Medley.
